TIL a coffee shop in Chiang Mai doubles as a snake rescue center
I was typing away at my laptop in this cute spot near Nimman, sipping a 60 baht iced latte, when this massive green snake dropped from the ceiling fan and landed right on my keyboard. The barista just shrugged and said, 'Oh, that's just Kevin, he lives here,' then scooped him up with a broom handle like it was normal. I packed up my gear and moved to the sidewalk table, but honestly, the adrenaline made me more productive than any coffee ever did. Has anyone else had a run-in with wildlife mid-work, or is this just a Southeast Asia thing?
