Had a chat with a guy in Medellin who changed my mind about coworking spaces
I always thought coworking was a waste of money. $50 a month for a desk when I can work from a cafe for free. This dude at a hostel in Medellin told me he signed up for one just for the stability. Said his productivity jumped 40% after 2 weeks of having a set desk and no searching for outlets. I tried it for a month and honestly my output doubled. Has anyone else found coworking actually worth the cash?

Yeah but 40% is a weirdly specific number to just throw out there. Sounds like he was trying to sell you on something more than just having a desk. I've done coworking a couple times and the biggest win was just not having to pack up my laptop every time I wanted to pee, not some magic productivity boost.

Didn't think much of coworking before either, but honestly this actually makes me want to give it a try. Never thought about it as a separate space for the brain like that.
