Stop booking coworking spaces blind - check the internet first

I rolled into a spot in Medellin last month that had great reviews but the WiFi dropped me off every Zoom call. Now I always ask for a speed test screenshot before I book, saved me at least $150 in frustration already. Anyone else get burned by a fast-looking space that couldn't actually handle video?

Got tricked by a place in Lisbon that had "business class" in the name but the connection would cut out every 15 minutes. Ended up working from a Starbucks down the street for three days straight, which pretty much defeated the whole point of paying for a coworking space. Now I straight up ask hosts to run a speed test during a video call before I'll commit.
