That perm disaster turned into my favorite lesson
I mean, last month I totally fried a client's hair with a perm solution that was too strong. Her curls came out brittle and uneven, and I was sure she'd never come back. I apologized right away and spent the next week learning about different hair types and gentler products. Maybe it's just me, but seeing her happy with a corrective treatment and a new style felt really good. Now I always do a strand test first, no exceptions. It's a small win, but it made me way more confident with tricky textures.
