I mean, idk if it's just me, but I've been noticing how K-pop groups filming in places like Prague or Bali for comebacks seems to boost those locations in fan travel plans, maybe it's a marketing thing?

What about the behind-the-scenes deals with tourism boards? I read that Seoul's tourism agency actively partners with companies to place Korean content in iconic foreign spots. It's a soft power move, not just accidental exposure. Places like Prague probably offer tax breaks or logistical support to get featured, knowing the fan influx will cover the costs.

Saw an article about Italy paying to get their landmarks in k-dramas. Cities definitely write checks for that kind of exposure.
