Update: My sourdough starter finally doubled in size after 8 days of being a sad pancake batter.
I switched from tap water to bottled spring water from the grocery store and fed it twice a day. Anyone else have a stubborn starter that needed a specific fix?

Honestly the tap water debate is a real rabbit hole. My neighbor swears his plants grew twice as fast after he switched to filtered stuff. Makes you wonder what's actually in the pipes.

Used to think filtered water was just for fancy coffee people until my basil kept dying. Switched to a basic filter like @julia_lee mentioned and the new plants actually look healthy now. Makes me side-eye my kitchen tap for real.
