My wife's new air fryer recipe book had a weird fact about avocados
She got this book last week and was reading it out loud. It said a single avocado tree can make over 200 pounds of fruit a year. I was in the kitchen and just stopped. That's a lot of guacamole from one plant. Makes you wonder why they're still so pricey at the store. Anyone know if that number sounds right?

The record for a single apple tree is over 1,000 pounds.

Yeah, that number tracks. I read somewhere that a mature tree in good conditions can hit that. Makes the supermarket prices feel like a real scam, doesn't it?
