It's kinda wild how a tiny tweak like lemon peel can wake up a whole pot of soup. Idk, maybe it's just me, but I see this everywhere, like how a quick walk outside can reset a crappy day. We're always looking for big fixes, but often it's the little touches that make things work. Adding fresh herbs at the end is the same idea, keeping flavors bright instead of letting them fade.

Honestly, lemon peel is such a smart move for boring soup. Tbh, a little grated ginger or a splash of white wine vinegar works wonders too. Ngl, I always add that kind of stuff right at the end so the flavor stays bright. Fresh herbs like dill or basil can also lift a bland broth big time.
