Just dropped $60 on a 'premium' avocado oil that tastes exactly like my regular stuff
The bottle says cold-pressed and single origin, but my taste test with toast proved it's a scam. Anyone know a brand that's actually different?

Wait, you mean that stuff isn't even real avocado oil half the time? I saw a thing where they tested bottles and most were just cheap soybean oil with coloring. You're literally paying for fancy lies in a bottle.

Haydeng47 that study gets passed around a lot, but how many bottles did they actually test? It feels like one of those things that makes a scary headline. Jordan77 has a point about the disappointment, but at the end of the day it's just cooking oil, not some huge scam. If it works for your salad and you like the taste, does the label matter that much?
