I gave up on my fancy blender for soups after one month
Used my old $40 immersion blender instead and the texture was way smoother, plus cleanup took about 30 seconds. Anyone else find that simpler tools just work better for some jobs?

Did it just stop working one day, @miles_sanchez, or was it a slow death? Those things can be such a letdown.
