I finally counted how many times I've made my grandma's meatloaf recipe
It hit 100 exactly last week, which is wild because I used to think it was a boring, overrated dish. Making it that many times (and tweaking it a little each time, like adding a bit of Worcestershire sauce) showed me it's actually a super underrated way to feed a family cheaply and with almost no waste. Has anyone else had a food they hated turn into a staple after giving it enough tries?

That "tweaking it a little each time" part is so true... what was the very first change you made that made you go, okay, this might actually be good? I feel like there's always that one small tweak that unlocks the whole thing.

Remember my friend who kept trying to make that weird chili? He always added cinnamon and it just tasted off. One day he swapped it for a tiny bit of dark chocolate, just a single square melted in. That was the click. It went from a weird sweet mess to something deep and rich. What's the weirdest ingredient swap that ever worked for you?
