Appreciation post: My instant pot finally made decent rice after I stopped using the 'rice' button
For years, my instant pot rice was either mushy or undercooked, no matter the water ratio. I saw a tip on a cooking forum to just use the manual high pressure setting for 3 minutes, then let it naturally release for 10. It works perfectly for a cup of jasmine rice now. Anyone else have a kitchen gadget setting they just ignore?

My old microwave had a popcorn button that just burned every bag. I swear half the buttons on appliances are just there to make them look fancy.
