Warning: I had a client in Dallas have a severe reaction to a 'clean' brand's new enzyme peel last week.

Her face got super red and hot halfway through the service, so I stopped immediately, used a cool compress, and applied a calming serum I keep on hand for emergencies, which thankfully worked after about 15 tense minutes. Has anyone else run into issues with this particular brand's reformulated line?

Seems like a lot of brands are quietly changing formulas lately, and it's causing problems nobody warned us about.

That new enzyme peel is a known problem. Three techs at my place have seen similar reactions since the switch. The brand messed up this reformulation.

Seriously? What kind of reactions are we talking about, just redness or something worse like burns? @mia_stone is right about the quiet changes, it's getting ridiculous. Did the brand give any reason for the switch, or are they just pretending it's the same stuff?
