That $60 LED face mask I bought on a whim actually turned my skin around

I was scrolling late night and impulse bought one of those cheap LED masks on TikTok shop for like 60 bucks. Figured it was gonna be a total dud and I'd just use it as a funny party prop or whatever. But after using it consistently for 3 weeks (10 min sessions, 5 days a week) my redness is way down and my skin looks less tired. No idea if it's placebo or the thing actually works, but I'm kinda shocked. Has anyone else had luck with the cheaper light therapy stuff or is this just a honeymoon phase I'm in?

Hold on, actually I think the sessions should be longer than 10 minutes for these cheaper masks. Most of the instructions I've seen for my similar one say 15 to 20 minutes per session to get the full red light exposure. Maybe try bumping it up a bit and see if you get even better results.

Oh man I used to be super skeptical about this stuff honestly. Thought it was all just influencer hype but my friend convinced me to try her cheap mask and ngl my skin does actually look less blotchy after a few weeks. Might be placebo but I'm not mad about it lol.

Figured it was all gimmicky marketing crap to be honest. But I picked up one of those cheap LED panels on sale last month after my sister wouldn't stop talking about hers. My skin around my jawline has been way less red and bumpy, which is something I've struggled with for years. Could be coincidence but I'm seeing enough of a difference that I'm sticking with it.
