That $400 LED mask gave me a chemical burn yesterday

I dropped $400 on a high-end LED therapy mask and after one 20-minute use my face was red and peeling for three days, so has anyone else had a reaction to those things or did I just get a bad batch?

Oh wow, a chemical burn from an LED mask? That is genuinely terrifying (I didn't even know those things could do that). The redness and peeling for three days sounds exactly like a reaction to some harsh ingredient or maybe the mask itself got contaminated somehow. You definitely need to check the return policy on that thing ASAP - some companies are real sticklers about masks being used once. Hope your face is feeling better now, that must have been super painful.

Wait did you use any serums or creams under the mask? Some of those ingredients react weird with LED light and cause burns. Might not be the mask itself just a bad combo.
