Talked to a client who only uses cold water to wash her face now

She's a regular at my spot in Austin and told me she switched six months ago after reading about it. Said her barrier feels way stronger and her rosacea is calmer. I always pushed lukewarm, but her skin really does look less red. Anyone else have clients making this switch and seeing results?

Cold water's fine, but lukewarm is actually better for most skin types.

Yeah my friend was a die-hard cold water splasher for years, swore it tightened her pores. Then her dermatologist told her to switch to lukewarm and her whole routine changed. She said her face stopped feeling so tight and dry all the time, like it wasn't being shocked awake anymore. Honestly, seeing her skin get less red and flaky made me switch too, and it's a small change that actually helped.

What's the water temperature in your shower, though?
