Saw how a spa in Portland organized their facial room and it clicked for me

I was visiting a friend who works at this high end spot in Portland last week, and I got to peek at their treatment room setup. They had this simple tray system for their products, arranged by step number instead of brand or type. It made me realize my own cart is basically a disaster zone where I'm digging for things mid-service. I mean, how many times have I had to pause a facial because I couldn't find my toner under a pile of extra spatulas? Their system probably saves them like 5 minutes per service, which adds up over a day. Anyone else ever rethink their whole workspace after seeing a different approach?

Oh, the "pile of extra spatulas" bit hit way too close to home. I once spent a good minute trying to find my eye cream mid-facial, only to realize it had rolled under my cart and was collecting a dust bunny family. The tray system sounds like a dream, I'm pretty sure my current setup is just organized chaos where I always lose my second cleanser right when I need it.
