Rant: The big change in how we approach extractions now

Back when I trained, extractions were a quick step we rushed through. We just got in there and cleared out blackheads fast. These days, it's all about taking time and being super gentle. Clients expect a whole routine with steam and special creams first. I see less redness and happier people, which is good. But I do think about how much faster things used to go. It's just one way our work has shifted over the years.

Some older techniques get the job done without all the extra steps. Clients on a budget or tight schedule often prefer that.
