Overheard a client call a chemical peel 'a spicy face smoothie'

I was setting up my room yesterday when a client on the phone in the waiting area described her upcoming appointment that way. She told her friend she was getting 'the medium spicy one' for her texture. It made me laugh, but it also got me thinking about how clients understand treatments through their own words. How do you explain procedures like peels or microneedling in simple terms that stick?
