Just realized that requiring patch tests saved me from big problems

I used to skip patch tests to keep appointments short. After a client had a bad reaction, I started doing them for every new facial. Now, I've caught several allergies before they became serious. It's made my practice much safer and more professional.

Wow, that's a really important lesson. Glad you caught that reaction before it got worse. Patch tests seem like extra work, but they're worth it. You've probably saved yourself from some serious headaches. It's smart to make them a standard part of your process. Clients will trust you more for being careful.

Read a magazine piece about how allergic reactions to common ingredients are way more frequent than people assume. It made me realize skipping a patch test is basically playing chemical roulette. Better safe than sorry every single time.

Are reactions truly that common?
