Just read that 80% of visible skin aging is from sun exposure, not just time
I was looking at a study from the Skin Cancer Foundation while prepping for a client consult. It really hit home how much of our work is about fixing sun damage, not just normal aging. Do you bring this stat up when talking about sunscreen with new clients?

That stat is wild but it makes total sense. Do you find clients actually listen when you hit them with the hard numbers, or do their eyes just glaze over?

Yeah, Gonzalez hits it hard - the UV photo trick is brutal. I did it once with a client thinking they were fine and they literally said "wait, that's MY face?" before the stat even mattered. Hard numbers don't stick until they see their own damage staring back at them.

You know, I've found the "hard numbers" work best when you show them a UV photo of their own skin damage first. The stat lands way harder when it's about THEIR face.
