I used to scrub each pore individually on every client until I switched to enzyme peels about 6 months ago

Now I can clear out a full back in under 15 minutes instead of 45, so why did my mentor tell me manual extractions were the only way to get real results?

Wait, did your mentor ever explain why manual extractions were supposed to be better? I read somewhere that enzyme peels can actually break down the same stuff that causes clogged pores, just without all the squeezing. @rowan_roberts49 I remember you mentioning something similar in another thread about time saving tricks. Maybe your mentor was just stuck in the old way of doing things, like how some people still think you have to use a towel to dry your face instead of just letting it air dry a bit. I'd say if your clients are happy and you're getting good results, that 15 minute back clear sounds like a win to me.

Kinda makes me think about how we do a lot of things just because "that's how it's always been done" you know? Like I remember my grandma used to hand wash all her dishes before putting them in the dishwasher, swore it cleaned them better lol. But these days you just scrape em off and let the machine do its thing. Same with your back extractions, if the enzyme peel gets the same job done without all the squeezing and time, why not go with what actually works for you and your clients

Haha I've definitely been that slowpoke with the pore-by-pore method too!
