I finally had a week that made me love this job again

Last month I had a rough streak with clients. Cancellations, complaints, the whole deal. Then this one Thursday morning I had three back to back bookings with women who had really bad acne and rosacea. Two of them cried during the treatment because they said nobody has ever been gentle with their skin before. One came back the next day just to say thank you and left me a $40 tip. That whole week I made about $700 which isn't huge but the feeling of actually helping people stuck with me. Has anyone else had a moment like that where a client's reaction made you forget the bad days?

Is it really "the unspoken goal" though, @sage_dixon? I've had clients get a little emotional, but crying feels like a whole other level of drama. Maybe it depends on what kind of work you do, but it doesn't seem like something you'd actually aim for.

The crying clients are kinda the unspoken goal but honestly I've had more success just making someone laugh halfway through a facial when they were all nervous and tense. One lady told me I was the first person who didn't treat her face like a science experiment.
