Hot take: I was convinced LED masks were a total scam until my own breakout cleared up in 4 days

My coworker at the hardware store kept pushing her at-home LED mask and I rolled my eyes every time. Figured it was just another beauty gadget for Instagram. But after a stress breakout before a family reunion last month, I borrowed hers out of desperation. Red light for 10 minutes, three nights in a row. My skin looked noticeably better by day 4. Now I'm shopping for my own and feel silly for being so stubborn. Has anyone else had a product they swore was nonsense that actually worked for them?

Wait, do you think it works on sunburn too...

Kind of depends on the burn though. The cold helps with the heat but vinegar can actually pull moisture out of already damaged skin. Ever tried plain yogurt straight from the fridge instead?

@oscarw83 nah that would just make things worse, trust me. Nothing like aloe vera for the real sunburn aftermath.
