Hot take: A client's rash made me rethink my serum mixing routine

Last month, a loyal client got a weird rash after a calming facial I gave. I finally connected it to me mixing a vitamin C serum with a niacinamide cream (I read up on how they can react if not timed right). What's your rule for spacing out active ingredients?

That reaction sounds rough. Are you sure it was the mix and not one spoiled ingredient? Those two can sometimes get fussy but a full rash seems extreme. What did the actual rash look like?

Ugh I feel for you, that sounds awful. My cousin had something similar happen last year with a store bought cake mix, broke out in these weird red patches that felt hot to the touch. Took over a week to calm down even with antihistamines. Makes you wonder what's even in some of those pre made things.

Seriously though, was it even that bad?
