Warning: I used to hate coworking memberships until I tried one in Bangkok

For 2 years I swore by free cafes and libraries, thinking $150 a month for a desk was a total SCAM. Then last month I spent 3 weeks at Hive Thonglor and suddenly got more work done in 4 hours than I usually did in 8. The quiet zone and reliable AC changed my whole outlook. Has anyone else found a coworking spot that actually boosted their income?

Glorified coffee saunas" is exactly right, and @grace_white nailed it with Hive Thonglor being the example. I've noticed this weird pattern where every new cafe tries to be the coziest spot but they crank the heat like it's a greenhouse for pastries. Maybe it's just me but I think we've traded good airflow for aesthetic brick walls and foggy windows nobody wants to sit near.
