Tried co-working spaces vs coffee shops for 2 months straight in Chiang Mai
I was bouncing between a WeWork type place and random cafes around the Nimman area, and the difference in my output was INSANE. At coffee shops I spent more time hunting for outlets and dealing with bad wifi than actually working, while the co-working space had consistent internet and a quiet zone that saved me. Has anyone else found that paying $120 a month for a desk beats buying $3 lattes all day?

Paid desks all the way. Coffee shops look cool but the productivity just isn't there. Got way more done in a month at a shared office than six months of cafe hopping.

@gpaigem45 nailed it. Coffee shops are a trap.

Spent three hours at one last week and left with a half-finished email and a latte that cost more than my lunch. The wifi is always spotty and someone's always on a Zoom call right next to you. Plus you gotta buy something every 90 minutes or you feel like a mooch. I'll take my dining room table any day, at least I can yell at my own cat.
