My old coworker in Bangkok used a 4G backup dongle for this exact reason. It saved him every time the cafe wifi got slow or dropped out. Honestly, just having that backup plan makes working from anywhere way less stressful.

Honestly, that's a bit much for a cafe. It's just wifi, not a life support system. Tbh if your whole office depends on a random public connection, maybe rethink the setup. Complaining about 10mbps for basic work stuff seems kinda extra. It's not like he's running a server farm from his latte.

Wait, 10mbps is considered enough now? My phone gets faster than that. I tried to send a big file last week and it took forever, had to use my own hotspot.
