Shoutout to the barista in Lisbon who saved my remote work day

I was set up at this cute coffee shop in Lisbon last Tuesday, ready to crush some client work, when my laptop decided to do a mandatory Windows update. 45 minutes of staring at a spinning circle while my iced latte melted. The barista saw me panicking and offered me their personal hotspot until I got back online. Ended up staying for 4 hours and bought 3 pastéis de nata out of gratitude. Has anyone else had a random stranger save their work day in a pinch?
