Rant: Coffee shop coworking in Bali burned through my battery in 2 hours
I thought working from a trendy spot in Ubud would be great, but the power outlets were all loose or taken by influencers charging phones. My laptop died during a client call and I had to finish on my phone in the bathroom. Anyone else find reliable power a nightmare in popular nomad hubs?

Maybe those influencers are actually running their whole business off their phones so they need the outlets more. If your laptop can't hold a charge for 2 hours that's kind of on you for not bringing a backup battery pack.

@gavina73 makes a fair point about the battery pack, but sometimes that's not enough when you're hopping between three coffee shops in an afternoon. I learned the hard way that even with a portable charger, some outlets are loose or won't power the pack properly. Best fix I found is a compact power strip with a short cord. Less than ten bucks at any hardware store, and suddenly everyone in the aisle is your best friend.
