Pro tip: Getting my work done before lunch made exploring way easier
I used to drag out tasks all day, which left no time for fun. Now I block off 8 AM to noon for focused work with my phone on silent. By lunch, I'm free to check out local spots without stress. I see more of each place and still hit my deadlines.

Last week in Seattle, I tried your morning work block idea. It left me drained by noon, and all the good lunch spots were packed when I went out. My creative work actually suffers before 10 AM. I need a slow start to let ideas simmer. Pushing through tasks early just means I redo them later when my brain is awake. Now I save deep work for after lunch when the office is quiet and I can focus better.

Yikes, my own productivity hacks usually crash harder than my browser with too many tabs.
