Was dead set against influencer collabs until a micro-influencer in Austin tripled my traffic.

I always thought paying influencers was a waste of budget, but last quarter I partnered with a local food blogger with 5k followers who actually knew my niche. She posted one story about my product and I got 47 genuine leads in 48 hours, way more than any ad campaign. Has anyone else had a small creator outperform their expectations?

Small creators like that actually reply to every comment and dm. That gardener your mentioned probably builds real trust over time so when she recommends something people actually buy it. The engagement rate on those accounts is usually way higher than bigger influencers too. Feels like paying for genuine word of mouth instead of just another ad slot.

Paired with a local gardener who had about 3k followers and she sent me a dozen new customers in a week. Smaller creators actually talk to their audience, feels more real than a random ad.
