The week I got 3 acceptances in a row still feels like a dream

Back in 2019 I submitted a short story to five different places. Got rejected from two, then boom. Three acceptances in one week. One from a small press in Austin Texas for 50 bucks. Felt like I was finally doing something right. Anyone else ever get a hot streak like that?

Hold up, three acceptances in one week is cool but calling it a "dream" feels a bit dramatic lol. You got paid 50 bucks from one place, that's barely a night out. Still a nice little run though, just don't act like you won the Booker Prize.
