My writing group leader in Boise told me my prompt about a dead dog was 'too safe' and I'm still mad about it
She said it at the library on Tuesday, right in front of everyone, and handed me a prompt card that just said 'kill the dog in paragraph two, not three.' Has anyone else had a prompt that got torn apart and then realized the feedback was actually right?
