My 500th writing prompt entry was a two-line joke about a sentient toaster

I hit 500 prompts logged in my notebook last night (I keep a tally on the inside cover, don't judge) and the winning idea was literally just a toaster that files for divorce, which got 14 upvotes while my 40-line epic about time-traveling librarians got 2, so has anyone else noticed the silly ones always outrank the serious ones, or is my taste just broken?

You really keeping a tally inside the cover of a notebook like it's a scorecard, huh? Did the toaster joke just feel easier to write, or did you actually laugh typing it out and know it was the winner?
