I was scrolling a thread on r/writingprompts last Tuesday and this guy said he generates 50 prompts a week using a random word list, but only finishes 2 of them. That number stuck with me. Here I am sitting on 11 half finished prompts in a Google Doc, feeling like a slacker. So I tried his method for 5 days and yeah, I wrote 25 prompts, but 3 were actually usable. Do you burn through a ton of prompts and toss most of them, or do you polish every single one?
