Warning: don't microwave canned tuna in the breakroom thinking it's fine...

I made the mistake of opening a can of tuna and microwaving it with some cheese at my desk last Tuesday around 2pm. Within 30 seconds, three coworkers from two cubicles over came storming over saying the smell was making them sick. My manager actually sent out a company-wide email the next day banning all fish microwaving in the office kitchen. Has anyone else had a comfort food backfire like this at work?

Honestly, the "banning all fish microwaving" part hit home because my friend Jess did the same thing with salmon at her old job and HR literally had to get involved. She said people were gagging in the hallways, and now she's banned from bringing any seafood into the office at all.
