TIL cottage cheese on hot dogs is the hill I'll die on
So last Saturday at a cookout in my buddy's backyard, I put a big scoop of cottage cheese on my hot dog instead of chili. Everyone stared at me like I'd just insulted their grandma's potato salad. But the cold, salty cottage cheese with the warm bun and dog? It just works. I've been eating it this way since I was a kid in Ohio, and I swear it's the perfect weird combo. Has anyone else got a comfort food that makes people give you the side eye for no reason?

That "cold and warm together" thing is exactly what gets me about peanut butter on a burger.
