Rant: Ramen with cottage cheese actually works, here's why I caved

My sister caught me eating it last Tuesday in Portland and made me defend it to her foodie boyfriend, who said it sounded like a crime. He pointed out that people already put creamy stuff like butter or egg into instant noodles, so why not a spoonful of cold cottage cheese to cut the salt and add texture. I tried it his way with less broth and a swirl, and now I'm wondering if anyone else has a weird combo that only clicks when someone frames it differently.

Okay I was fully on the "this is gross" train but you just reframed it as basically a savory yogurt swirl and now I gotta try it with less broth tonight.
