Rant: I finally got my mom to try my canned tuna and cottage cheese mash after 8 years of her calling it gross
She took one bite, said it actually wasn't half bad, and now I'm mad I wasted all that time arguing about it, so has anyone else finally won over a skeptic on a weird comfort food mix?

Had a friend who waited six years for her partner to admit he was wrong about something at work. Finally he did, and she said she felt relieved but also kinda hollow. Like all that pride just got in the way of them being happy together for so long. I get where you're coming from though. Eight years is a huge chunk of life to just toss away on being stubborn. A win still counts but it's a pretty sad looking trophy.
