PSA: I used to think cold canned chili was a sad lunch, but after a 12-hour shift in July, I get it now.
I mean, maybe it's just me, but cracking open a can of that stuff straight from the fridge after a brutal day pouring concrete in the heat just hits different, idk, anyone else have a weird cold food thing that makes sense after a specific job?

Hard disagree, honestly. That sounds like giving up on having a decent meal. After a long, hot day, your body needs something good, not cold slop from a can. Taking five minutes to heat it up shows you still care, you know? Eating it cold just seems like a punishment you got used to, not a real treat.

Microwave it right in the bowl you’ll eat from, saves washing a pot. Throw some shredded cheese on top after it’s hot, melts right in. Makes it feel like an actual dinner.

Wait, you actually heat up canned chili? @riley_west that's wild to me, it's always been a cold snack straight from the fridge.
