My hot chocolate bomb cracked open in the microwave and flooded the mug

I was trying to make one of those fancy hot chocolate bombs last night, you know, the kind you drop in hot milk. But I was lazy and just put it in a mug of cold milk to microwave. After about 90 seconds, the thing just split open and all the mini marshmallows and sprinkles inside spilled out before it could melt right. It turned into a weird, grainy mess instead of a smooth drink. Has anyone else had a bomb totally fail on them like that?

Honestly, that's the whole story of these fancy food trends. They look amazing on video but the real life version is a total mess. It's like the gap between the perfect picture and my clumsy reality. I've had the same thing happen with those viral baked feta pastas, just a salty, oily disaster. Why does everything that's supposed to be easy turn into a kitchen fail?

Actually I think the problem is people don't follow the recipes right. Those videos show a specific way to do it, and if you swap ingredients or skip steps of course it fails. My baked feta pasta came out perfect because I used the exact block of cheese they said. It's not the trend's fault, it's just regular cooking. You gotta pay attention to the details.

Oh please, if you can't follow a simple recipe then maybe the problem isn't the trend. I've made that baked feta pasta four times now and it's been perfect every single time because I actually read the instructions instead of just watching the pretty video.
