I finally tried peanut butter and pickle sandwiches after 27 years of thinking it was gross.
Was at my aunt's house in Ohio last summer. She pulled out a jar of dill pickles and crunchy peanut butter. I almost walked out. But she insisted. So I tried one bite. The salt and crunch just works. Tangy and creamy together. Weirdest comfort food ever but now I crave it once a month. Anyone else secretly eat this combo?

Maybe try it on a burger next time... game changer.

Yeah but I gotta stop you there. That's actually a bacon cheeseburger with an egg. If you're putting a fried egg on a burger that's already got bacon and cheese, that's a whole different thing. It's good don't get me wrong but it's not the same as what they showed. The hash brown bun thing is what made it new. Just throwing an egg on a burger isn't some wild discovery.

Does the egg change the whole thing more than swapping the bun for hash browns though? I feel like the bun swap is just a texture gimmick while the egg actually changes the flavor profile completely. Isn't the egg the bigger game changer here or am I crazy?
