I finally cracked the code on eating cold pizza with hot sauce for breakfast

So my roommate keeps telling me I'm a monster for microwaving my leftover pizza with a pile of Sriracha and then eating it with a fork. But here's the thing, she eats her pizza cold with ranch dressing which just seems like a crime against cheese in my book. I grew up in Buffalo where we put hot sauce on everything including mac and cheese and eggs. Last Tuesday I took a slice of pepperoni from Wednesday night's order, nuked it for 45 seconds, dumped on about a tablespoon of Frank's RedHot, and it was pure comfort food bliss. She literally gagged when she saw me do it but I think she's missing the point. Am I the weird one here or does cold ranch on pizza somehow make more sense than warm hot sauce?

Used to be a cold pizza guy myself but that Frank's RedHot argument just converted me.

Hot sauce on leftover pizza is the only correct way to eat it, full stop. I'm from Texas so we put hot sauce on pretty much everything too and the combination of that tangy vinegary kick with the greasy cheese is just perfect. Your roommate eating cold pizza with ranch is honestly disturbing, ranch is for salads and chicken wings not for pizza that's been sitting in the fridge all night. I do the same thing you do but sometimes I add a little extra cheese on top before microwaving so it gets all melty again. She's the weird one not you, cold ranch is way more of a crime against pizza than hot sauce could ever be. Keep doing what you're doing and maybe buy her some actual pizza sauce so she stops ruining perfectly good slices.

Saw my buddy reheat pizza in a toaster oven with canned tuna on top once, still think about that.
