Hot take: cold baked beans straight from the can are a top tier comfort food

Last Tuesday I was too wiped to heat up dinner after a 12 hour shift so I cracked open a can of Bush's baked beans and ate them cold leaning on the counter. My roommate walked in and gave me this horrified look like I just committed a crime, but honestly the cold sweetness and texture hit different. Am I alone in this or do other people sneak cold canned beans as a lazy comfort snack?

Read somewhere that fridge kills the flavor for most drinks. Room temp all the way.
