Disagreed with my roommate about canned fish on pizza
I grew up eating tuna pizza from a corner spot in Brooklyn. It's a real thing. My roommate walked in last night while I was topping a homemade pie with anchovies and sardines. She said it stinks and ruins the whole kitchen. I told her it's cozy and hits different with melted mozzarella. Who else puts weird fish on pizza and gets roasted for it?

My ex-boyfriend once put pickled herring on a frozen pizza and tried to convince me it was gourmet. The whole apartment smelled like a pier for two days, but I secretly liked it more than I let on. Roommates just don't get the magic of briny toppings, your mileage may vary but I'd say you're doing it right.

Didn't think I'd ever agree with pickled herring on pizza but you might be on to something.

Read a food history blog once that said fisherman in Naples started the whole fish on pizza thing back in the 1700s. @abby_wilson51 your ex was onto something even if he was a tool about it.
