Changed my mind about canned tuna mac and cheese after a weird dinner at my sister's place

I always thought mixing canned tuna into mac and cheese was just wrong (like, cafeteria-level bad). But last month my sister made it with the cheap blue box and a can of tuna in oil, and she added a handful of frozen peas and some hot sauce. I ate three bowls before I even admitted it was good. The salty tuna and the creamy cheese actually work together, who knew? Has anyone else had a comfort food they hated for years and then suddenly loved?

That whole thing about cold pizza really hit me, because I saw a food blog once that explained how the flavors actually blend better after sitting in the fridge overnight. I used to think it was just lazy people making excuses, but now I get it completely. Your story about the tuna mac honestly convinced me to give it a shot next time I'm craving something quick.

Oh man, you just reminded me of the time I finally tried cold pizza for breakfast. I thought it was just a weird college thing and always reheated my slices. Then one morning I was in a hurry and took a bite of day-old pepperoni straight from the fridge. The crust got all chewy and the cheese was firm but not hard, it was like a totally different meal. Now I purposely make extra pizza just so I can have it cold the next day.
