Canned tuna with cottage cheese and hot sauce was my dinner every night for a month straight

I know it sounds absolutely vile but hear me out. I was in a weird spot back in February where I just couldn't stomach cooking anything after work. My buddy Dave made fun of me for it but I swear the creaminess of the cottage cheese with the salt from the tuna and some sriracha hits that spot you get when you want something cozy but kind of trashy too. My girlfriend refused to sit at the same table for dinner. Is there anyone else out there eating weird combos like this and actually enjoying them?

Is your buddy Dave single, because my wife gave me the exact same look when she caught me eating cold ravioli straight from the can with a fork. I gotta say though, cottage cheese and tuna is a power move that I respect more than I probably should. You're basically eating a high protein meal that costs like three bucks and takes thirty seconds to throw together, what's not to love? But seriously, did you at least switch up the hot sauce brand every now and then to keep things interesting, or was it straight sriracha loyalty the whole month?

Wait, did you just say cold ravioli straight from the can with a fork? Because I read this thing online about how the guy who invented canned ravioli actually designed the can to be opened with a specific key that came with it, but nobody uses it anymore. Anyway, I gotta back up @hannahs45 on the whole simple food thing. My buddy Dave would probably eat cold ravioli every day if his wife let him, but she gives him that same look you're talking about. You're right about the cottage cheese and tuna though, that's a solid meal that just works. I think switching up the hot sauce keeps it from getting boring, but sriracha loyalty has its place too.

Man that's just how it goes when you figure out what actually works and stop caring about looking fancy. People waste so much money on complicated meals when the simple stuff gets the job done.
