Can we talk about canned tuna on pizza

I got roasted at a party in Portland last month for ordering a tuna pizza from a local joint. It's savory, salty, and the heat melts the cheese just right. Fries in a sandwich is normal but this crosses the line? Has anyone else found a weird topping that actually works?

Grabbed a slice from a joint in Seattle that puts canned sardines and pickled jalapenos on their pepperoni pizza. Sounded weird but the salty fish and the spicy kick worked together better than I expected. The heat from the oven mellowed out the fishy taste, and the jalapeno added a crunch. Tuna on pizza makes total sense to me, especially with some red pepper flakes and a squeeze of lemon after it comes out. People judge too quick, but they're missing out on something good.

Wait, did you hit up @ben_nguyen's spot in Seattle or try the lemon squeeze trick? I'd skip the red pepper flakes and just do lemon plus a light drizzle of hot honey instead.
