TIL I was writing blog intros backwards for 6 months

I finally sat down and looked at my analytics last week. Every single post with a question in the first sentence had half the read time of posts that just stated a fact. My bounce rate dropped 20% after I flipped them around instantly.

Have you ever wondered if the real problem is trust, not just attention? When I read a question too early, it feels like a used car salesman trying to get me hooked. A plain fact at the start makes me think the writer is confident and honest. Maybe readers are just tired of being tricked into reading something. You might have stumbled onto a deeper thing about how people decide if a blog post is worth their time.

Did I really think that way before, cause you just flipped my whole take on this?
